Shift Start / End Time
The first time you start working with a client, you are expected to arrive 15 minutes early. A representative from the Company will introduce you to the client. This is for the first shift only. Every shift moving forward with the client you need to arrive no more than 5 minutes early.
Your attendance supports the client’s health, safety and well-being, and is an essential job duty. You are expected to work through the duration of the shift. If a client gives you permission to leave early, you must immediately contact the office to get approval. If approved, you clock out from the client’s phone or caregiver app and you may leave. If you are working a shift where 24-hour care is provided, you may not leave until the next caregiver has relieved you. Failure to properly notify the office when a client permits you to leave early or not waiting for your replacement on a 24-hour case will result in disciplinary action and possible termination.
