Scheduling Hours of Employment
You will be scheduled to work based on your verbal and/or written submission of availability and current client demand for hourly Home Care or Home Health services. All scheduling will be overseen by the scheduling department and confirmed with you prior to the assigned shift. Any time there is either a permanent or temporary change in your availability you must contact the Schedulers immediately. We will make every attempt to schedule in advance for the convenience of both the client and the employee. Because of the nature of the home care and healthcare industry, however, we schedule new cases almost daily and we need your cooperation and flexibility in scheduling to meet client needs. In an emergency, you may be asked to alter your schedule to care for the client(s) who can most benefit from your particular skill level. Contact the office weekly if you aren’t on the schedule or if you are looking for additional hours.
Under no circumstance are you to create a schedule with your client. Doing this will result in disciplinary action.
