EMP.33 - Nursing Mothers Breaks
Nursing Mothers Breaks
Any employee who needs to express breast milk for her nursing child will be provided reasonable break times to do so in compliance with applicable laws and will be completely relieved of all duties while on such a break. A place, other than a bathroom, that is shielded from view and free from intrusion from clients or other individuals will be provided for this purpose. The employee may bring her own cold storage device for storing her milk. If the employee does not have one, the Company or client will provide cold storage for the employee to use in her work environment. Break times for nursing mothers that exceed 30 minutes or longer will be unpaid as long as no work is performed during the break. If such a break is interrupted by a need to work, the entire break time will be paid. No one will be retaliated against for requesting or using nursing mothers breaks. To request nursing mothers breaks, contact your Supervisor or Manager.
