Termination of Employment
Termination / Resignation
Your employment at the Company is currently at-will, in compliance with the Company’s at-will policy. The Company reserves the right to terminate the employment of any employee at any time, with or without cause or notice. Similarly, you may terminate your employment with the Company at any time, with or without cause or notice. No employee or representative of the Company has the authority to enter into any agreement, express or implied, for employment for any specified period of time or make any agreement that is contrary to the employment at-will policy, except for the Owner of the Company, and then only in writing.
Upon leaving the Company, whether voluntarily or at the Company’s discretion, an exit interview between the employee and the Manager will generally take place at which the terms, time, conditions and reasons for leaving will be discussed. Employees will be discharged if they have not worked in the past six (6) months. They will be required to go through the orientation process to become active again.
At the time of departure from the Company, the employee will turn in any keys, equipment, and all the Company property issued to or otherwise acquired by the employee during his or her employment.
If you are terminated for breaking company policies and procedures or for poor work performance, you are not eligible to receive your QPB bonus for the payroll period in which your termination date occurs.
Although not required, an employee resigning from the Company is requested to give at least two (2) weeks’ notice. Please note that if you fail to give two weeks’ notice you will no longer be in good standing with the Company. To that end, you will not be eligible for rehire and you will not be eligible for your QPB bonus for the payroll period in which your resignation date occurs.
All employees forfeit available but unused PTO upon resignation or termination of employment. Such PTO is lost forever, even if the employee is rehired by the Company. Employees who provide a two-week resignation notice are not entitled to receive accrued but unused PTO benefits during the two-week resignation period.
Final Pay
Your final pay will be issued by the next scheduled payday. If you believe you are owed an amount different than the amount calculated by the Company, please notify your Supervisor or any Manager immediately.
