Performance Reviews and Opportunities for Advancement
Performance Reviews
Performance evaluations are an important part of the Company’s personnel policies. They provide a process to review employees' on-the-job effectiveness and client feedback. This process, hopefully, will provide each employee with an opportunity to note major accomplishments and progress, as well as performance problems that may result in disciplinary action or dismissal. While the process is a way of trying to make sure your performance and conduct conforms to those expected by the Company, you must, however, ultimately accept responsibility for your own job performance.
While Managers, Supervisors, and employees are encouraged to discuss job performance and goals on an informal, periodic basis, employees will typically be reviewed at the end of their introductory (training) period and annually. If an employee is promoted or his/her duties change, a performance review may also be conducted.
The Company determines when and whether pay adjustments will be made. Decisions as to pay adjustments, transfers, promotions or demotions are in the sole and exclusive discretion of the Company. A wage or salary review may or may not occur at the time your performance is evaluated and a positive review does not guarantee a wage or salary increase, a promotion or continued employment.
Regardless of whether you do or do not receive a wage rate increase or a positive review, your employment is currently at-will and may be terminated by you or the Company at any time, for any reason or no reason at all, with or without notice.
